FrontRow Conductor

A robust IP-based solution for school-wide communication that includes bells, paging intercom, alerting, and emergency notification and response.

Conductor Admin Station

Designed for easy touch access to key functions like school paging and intercom, emergency alerts, and answering calls, the Conductor Admin Station works with our FrontRow Conductor Server and networked FrontRow audio systems, along with Boxlight Mimio or CleverTouch interactive display panels, to provide effortless communication for schools and districts.

Conductor Features

A fully programmed and implemented Conductor system lets you control or communicate practically anything across the school.

Zoning

Identify zones in your buildings with a few mouse clicks — say, all 3rd grade classrooms, the second-floor hallways in the science building, and so on. Then make pages to any or all those zones over your network. If you one day need to change zones to reflect a new arrangement of classrooms, Conductor makes it a job of a few seconds — no need to call in a tech to rewire your PA.

Messaging

Pre-record a daily message from the principal to play at a scheduled time, leaving the principal free to be engaging with staff and students elsewhere on campus.

Scheduling

Establish your standard bell schedules with a variety of tones and set them to run automatically. If you need a late start day due to weather, for example, it takes only a few clicks to shift the schedule.

Emergency Notification & Response

As part of your emergency operations plan, Conductor can be used to trigger alerts and actions to networked devices. For example, hitting the button for a tornado alert can play a distinct audio alarm to all zones, display an evacuation map on all projectors and digital signage, and clearly play pre-recorded instructions over the speakers. For a lock-down, with a single command, you can simultaneously lock all doors against an intruder, issue an automated announcement about what’s happening, send digital alerts off-campus, and more.

Easily mastered by IT staff, minimizing the need for outside technicians, it communicates through the speakers and amps in your ezRoom AV systems, reducing redundancy by integrating with IP phone systems and door relays. It is available preinstalled on a dedicated server or can be deployed on a virtual server.

Summary:

Conductor is a robust IP-based paging, bell, intercom, and control platform (also known as MNS or Mass Notification System) that works seamlessly with FrontRow ezRoom and Juno Connect. Through an easy software interface in the front office, administrators can set up and talk to any zone in the school, create and change bell schedules, and build cascading actions to automate routine tasks or emergency response — all with a few mouse clicks.

The Conductor system helps you manage your buildings and use your time and money more efficiently. Because it leverages your existing network and the hardware you need in your classrooms anyway, Conductor saves on both capital and operational costs. Since it integrates with IP phone systems and door relays, redundancy and complexity in control interfaces goes away. And because Conductor’s open architecture can be easily mastered by your own IT staff, you don’t need to call in expensive consultants every time you want to make a change.

The Conductor Administrator Station is the heart of the Conductor system. This head-end package includes a dedicated PC running the Conductor client application, a server with Conductor and Maestro network apps, and other important components you'll need to take charge of campus communication and control. With Conductor, you can quickly set up or change communication zones, and prepare cascading actions for daily or emergency use.
